Did you notice how many quality games with the number "3" have come out last year. And I don't mean 2012 but really, the last 12 months. Let's list them:

• Mass effect 3
• postal 3
• modern warfare 3
• diablo 3
• Max Payne 3
• battlefield 3
• Serious sam 3
• Uncharted 3
• Gears of war 3

And thre are more on the way, like Crysis 3, far cry 3 and ofcourse Dead space 3. I'm a bit less enthousiastic about crysis/farcry 3 because it's looking out to be way too "tactical" for my taste + too much desaturated color enemies that blend in with the environment. This touches a subject I've been discussing in great detail in this post.

Dead space 3 I'm greatly looking forward to because not only can you play this with a coop partner, it will iterate and advance on the great gameplay mechanics that made the 2 first games a joyfull breeze for me to play.
