My studio exists and runs for 80% on a windows 7 pc. Because there's where the sound libraries, sequencing software and mixing device is on. I have very few hardware, namely a master keyboard with hammer action feeling (it plays as if you're playing a piano and not on "a keyboard". I like it this way cause it gets the composing juices flowing better imo). ANd then there are My speakers, a digital convertor that converts the data from the computer into audio for the speakers, and some mics and a tool to correct vocal accoustics.
